Circular motorised damper | 125 mm
Product description
A motorised damper is a device used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to regulate air flow inside of ductwork. Dampers are crucial for regulating the airflow to different parts of a building, ensuring proper temperature control and energy efficiency.
This damper is specifically designed to fit into ducts with 125 mm diameter and its supply voltage is 24 VDC, PoM. The damper blade position can be set via a 0-10 V signal or via Modbus RTU communication. Modbus RTU communication can be used to change the minimum and maximum position.
To stop the air leak, the airtightness of the enclosure and the damper blade needs to be ensured. Leakage can reduce the efficiency of the controller, increase the noise levels and can also lead to drafts and discomfort for occupants. For that, the damper blade provides class 4 airtightness and the enclosure's airtightness, which is classified as class D by EN1751.
This circular damper has the ability to regulate airflows with velocities between 0 and 10 m/s. An electric motor is installed in the damper to enable automated control. Usually used in HVAC systems, these dampers control airflow for both heating and cooling purposes.

Additional specifications and description
One RJ45 connector is all it takes to connect this motorised damper! The built-in actuator requires a 24 VDC supply voltage. Modbus RTU communication and 24 VDC supply voltage can be connected via one UTP cable - we call it Power over Modbus or PoM. The damper blade position can be controlled via Modbus RTU communication. To facilitate wiring, we recommend to use the Sentera 24 VDC power supplies with RJ45 connector. These power supplies offer protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage. A 24 VDC supply voltage increases the safety and reliability of your installation.
This motorised damper doesn't require configuration. Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings will do for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. For example, the minimum and maximum damper blade position can be adjusted via the parameter settings. The Modbus register map provides a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
