Fan controller | heater controller | Grow room controller | 7,5 A
Product description
This 5-stage fan speed controller is pre-wired. Two AC fans with single-phase motors and an electric heating element can be connected via the Euro sockets. The (combined) maximum motor current is 7,5 A. The maximum current for the electric heater is 16 A.
When the ambient temperature is below the set temperature, the fans run at minimum speed and the heater operates. If the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature, the electric heater stops and the fan speed gradually increases.
The ambient temperature is measured with the pre-wired PT500 probe. The set temperature can be adjusted using the potentiometer on the front panel. The high or low fan speed can be adjusted with two rotary switches.
The supply voltage is 230 V AC.

Benefits of transformer-based fan speed controllers
Transformer-based controllers are known for their durability and robustness, ensuring long-term reliability. They are designed to be user-friendly, making them easy to operate and control. These controllers are efficient in regulating fan speeds and maintaining temperature conditions. They offer cost-effective solutions for speed control and temperature management and provide silent motor operation, which makes them suitable for noise-sensitive environments. Users can easily control fan speed in steps, allowing for precise adjustments. They have a long service life, contributing to their cost-effectiveness. The used technology generates a motor voltage with perfect sinusoidal shape. This results in exceptionally quiet motor operation and extended service life. A special impregnated coating reduces the electrical noise from the autotransformers.
The GTTE1 series of fan speed controllers
The GTTE1 series of controllers has two Schuko Euro sockets to connect AC fans, one for supply and one for extraction. It can control the speed of these fans in five steps. Users can set the minimum and maximum fan speeds and the temperature setpoint using built-in knobs on the enclosure. GTTE1 series offers a comprehensive solution for temperature-based fan speed control and electric heater management, combining durability, ease of use, and safety features.
Passive temperature sensor
The controller uses a passive temperature probe (PT500) with a 4-meter cable to monitor ambient temperature accurately. It should be placed in an appropriate place to ensure proper ventilation control.
Fan speed adjustment in steps
As the ambient temperature exceeds the setpoint temperature, the fan speed increases incrementally. This ensures optimal ventilation and cooling.
Electric heater control
The controller includes a third Schuko socket for connecting an electric heater. When the ambient temperature drops below the set temperature, the heater is activated for heating. Conversely, when the temperature exceeds the setpoint, the heater is deactivated to maintain a comfortable temperature.
Plug-and-play device
Installation is straightforward and does not require any wiring. The controller comes with two separate supply cables with Europlugs (1.5-meter length), allowing you to power the fan and electric heater via different circuits. Three separate Schuko Euro sockets offer flexibility for connecting different devices.
Installation tip
Ensure the fan speed controller has sufficient cooling, and consider installing it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Recommended area of use
The controller is intended for use with single phase 230 VAC units in function of the measured temperature in greenhouses, stables, sheds, etc., but can be used in any temperature controlled ventilation system.
Surface mount enclosure
Enclosures play an important role in protecting the interior components or contents from various external factors such as debris, dust, water, and mechanical impact. The quality of enclosures is indeed essential to ensure the integrity and safety of the enclosed items. Therefore, the enclosure of the GTTE1 series is manufactured in-house. We use high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is flame extinguishing, very tough and offers good protection against impacts. It offers an IP54 protection against ingress dust and water. This fan speed controller can be installed on a wall or panel indoors.
