Growing up close to the city of Antwerp, Belgium, I was always fascinated by tools and devices. And from a young age, I often easily found my way around them. Or I took them apart to see what made them tick. So I came to study engineering, resulting in a degree in electronics. Which I supplemented with another year of studying software development.
The first part of my career was spent developing full-stack web applications. All the way from analysis, to the database, to back-end, and the front-end. But the old love for machines, devices and electronics was always lingering nearby.
A couple of years ago I got the opportunity to return to my roots: My original intent of working with microprocessors. First as a hobby, fiddling with microcontrollers. And now as my fulltime job.
