Hello there, I'm Jorn and I was born and raised in the Belgian city of Dendermonde and still live there. I'm someone who wants to try a little bit of everything in life and therefore have too many hobbies like playing guitar, bouldering, working out, playing board games and the list goes on. I also renovated my own home starting from scratch which still takes up some of my free time.

With a big interest in electronics I acquired my degrees of industrial- and civil engineer in electronics and in 2015 started at a company that designed high-end home automation products. At this company, I helped design the hardware, write firmware for embedded devices, repairs and helped production in setting up test environments.

In 2022, I switched gears and started at a company in the security- and time attendance industry. This is where I honed my software skills even more to become an all-round developer that knows all layers of the development process from hardware to software to production.

In 2024, I started at Sentera as senior development engineer to help design and improve our product range. I always strive for the best possible solution and work in a structured and planned out way to achieve this outcome.
