Three phase fan speed controller | calendar function | 4 A
Product description
This fan speed controller is intended for use with three-phase 400 V motors. A maximum combined current of 4 A can be handled by the controller.
The calendar feature allows you to configure two ideal motor speeds, and the timer with a day-week program lets you to transition between these speeds automatically depending on predefined schedules.
The controller features a TK monitoring function that monitors motor temperature to guarantee motor safety. If the controller detects overheating, it will shut the motor to prevent harm.
In the case of a power outage, the controller has an automatic restart capability, which means that once power is restored, the motor will resume without the need for operator intervention.
The AC fan speed is controlled by lowering the motor voltage with autotransformer technology. This method produces a motor voltage with a perfect sinusoidal waveform, resulting in smooth and silent motor running.
The controller's enclosure is suitable for surface mounting indoors and has an IP54 rating, providing dust protection and resistance to water splashes.
The controller's power supply voltage is 400 VAC.

Additional specifications and description
Day/week timer
The day/week timer is a feature that enables you to precisely tailor the operation of your fan system to suit your specific needs. With this timer, you can create customized schedules for your fan, allowing you to set different fan speeds at different times of the day or week. This level of flexibility is particularly useful in scenarios where you want to optimize energy consumption or maintain specific environmental conditions. Moreover, you can select two optimal fan speeds, ensuring that your fan system operates at the right performance levels for your application.
Remote start/stop
This controller offers a convenient and efficient method for remotely managing your motor. Through the inclusion of a normally open and a normally closed input, you can remotely enable or disable the connected motor. This feature is useful in situations where you need to quickly respond to changing conditions or emergencies. For instance, you can effortlessly halt the fan system in case of unexpected events, preventing any potential damage or hazards.
Thermal motor protection
Motor safety is paramount in any industrial or commercial application. The controller integrates a comprehensive thermal motor protection feature. It can monitor thermal motor contacts (TK), which are designed to measure the temperature in the motor windings. In the event of motor overheating, the TK monitoring function intervenes by automatically disabling the motor. This not only safeguards the motor from damage but also mitigates potential risks to the surrounding environment. If your motor does not feature TK contacts, a bridge can be installed between TK terminals to simulates normal motor temperature.
Unregulated output
The controller's unregulated output (230 VAC) activates when the motor is enabled, offering an excellent means of controlling external devices. You can use this output to manage run indicators, dampers or any other equipment that needs to be synchronized with the fan operation. For example, when the fan system is deactivated, the output can be employed to signal the closing of dampers, while it can be configured to open them when the fan system is active.
Auto reset after power failure
Unforeseen power failures can disrupt operations and lead to downtime. To counter this, the controller includes an automatic reset feature. When a power outage occurs, the controller ensures that it can independently recover once the power is restored. The connected motor will restart automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention and guaranteeing a smooth and seamless continuation of operations.
Alarm output
The controller incorporates an alarm output, which is activated when motor issues are detected. This alarm output can serve a variety of purposes, such as controlling a warning light or triggering audible alarms. When any problems, such as motor overheating or malfunctions, are identified, the alarm output acts as an alert mechanism, enabling rapid response and ensuring the integrity of the fan system.
Solid enclosure
Constructed from high-quality steel with a lawyer of powder coating, the enclosure is built to withstand harsh industrial and environmental conditions. The IP54 protection rating offers a robust defense against the ingress of dirt, dust, and moisture. This is especially important in settings where the controller is exposed to challenging surroundings. The solid enclosure not only ensures the longevity of the controller but also maintains the integrity of its internal components, contributing to the overall reliability of your fan system.
