The GTT-1 transformer fan speed controller regulates the speed of single-phase voltage-controlled motors by varying the output voltage according to the measured temperature.
It is equipped with an automatic transformer and controls the fan speed in automatic or manual mode. In automatic mode, it has a control algorithm for cooling and can control the speed in five steps according to the measured values of the integrated flying lead temperature sensor. In manual mode, the integrated control switch allows the user to select one of the specified fan speed positions. This control switch has seven positions: off - automatic mode - five speed selections in manual mode.
Controllers up to 7.5 A are supplied with a plastic housing, models above 7.5 A are supplied with a metal housing. The enclosures are designed for indoor surface mounting (IP54).
Voltage taps 0-(80)-110-140-170-190-230 VAC. The supply voltage is 230 VAC

Temperature-based control
These controllers use the temperature measurement from the integrated flying lead sensor to determine the appropriate motor speed in automatic mode.
Automatic and manual modes
The controllers offer both automatic and manual modes of operation. In automatic mode, the controller adjusts the motor speed based on the measured temperature. In manual mode, users can select from five predefined motor speed levels using the built-in potentiometer on the enclosure.
Step control
The controllers provide five steps or speed levels for control. Users can choose the desired speed level based on the cooling requirements of the environment. When auto mode is selected the controller automatically switches between the output voltage levels based on the measured temperature.
By offering five distinct speed settings, the controller allows users to increase the fan speed gradually or set it to the desired level directly. This flexibility can be beneficial in industrial environments, warehouses, where precise control over ventilation is necessary.
Additionally, the fact that the controller can be used immediately upon connection makes it convenient for installation and use. This saves time and effort, allowing users to start utilizing the fan speed control right away.
What is more, you can easily change the 5 output voltages by changing the internal wiring. The factory connected output voltages are 110, 140, 170, 190 and 230 VAC, however, the product version features 80 VAC, which can be connected by disconnecting any of the other 5 steps.

Installation
Make sure that the fan speed controller can cool sufficiently. Preferably install it in a cool place, best not in direct sunlight.
Surface mounted enclosure
The housing of this fan speed controller is designed and manufactured in-house using high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic, which possesses several desirable properties for this application. The flame-extinguishing nature of r-ABS VO plastic ensures an added level of safety, which is crucial in industrial environments where fire hazards may be present.
