Mechanical thermostat
Product description
This mechanical thermostat controls temperatures between 0 and 40 °C. The output contact can switch loads up to 16 A. The requested temperature can be adjusted via the rotary knob.
The ambient temperature is measured via the spiral sensor. This thermostat can be used for heating or cooling ventilation applications in warehouses, greenhouses, stables, etc.
The enclosure can be wall-mounted. It offers an IP54 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. This thermostat does not require a supply voltage.

What are the Key Features and Applications of a Mechanical Thermostat?

This mechanical thermostat is easy to use. It controls temperatures between 0 and 40 ° C. The requested temperature can be set via the rotary knob. This thermostat can be used for heating or cooling applications. The single-pole output contact can handle loads of 3,5 kW (16 A at 230 VAC). It is also possible to switch a lower voltage, for example 12 or 24 Volts.
How is the Thermostat Wired and How Does It Function in Heating Applications?
This thermostat is easy to connect. It has a single-pole output contact. This output can be used to interrupt the power supply of the heater in heating applications. E.g. when the ambient temperature reaches the set temperature, the output contact is activated and stops the heater.

What are the Enclosure and Mounting Features of the Thermostat?
The enclosure offers an IP54 protection against ingress of dust and moisture. It can be wall-mounted in indoor environments. To ensure optimal operation, there must be a free air flow around the sensor.
