Engineer specialised in electronics and ICT, responsible for developing sensors, speed controllers and control solutions for ventilation systems.

Temse - BELGIUM
To reinforce our R&D team, we are looking for an
Embedded software engineer

Translate the application into structured text
You will be included in our R&D team. Your job is to translate the application of our customers into structured text. For the hardware design, we use Altium designer or Eagle software to develop the PCBs. The STM microprocessors are programmed with Cube IDE. Standard Sentera products can be given different functionality via application-specific firmware and can thus be optimally tailored to the needs of the customer.

Application specific firmware
The Sentera concept means that we offer application-specific firmware via SenteraWeb - our HVAC cloud platform. Our customers are not engineers nor programmers. They are specialists in ventilation and in optimizing indoor air quality. That is why we develop application-specific firmware for our customers ourselves. Via SenteraWeb, our customers can install standard products in an extremely user-friendly manner and download the necessary functionality for their project.

Sentera is an internationally oriented company
Our R&D teams are based in our facilities in Temse (Belgium) and Plovdiv (Bulgaria). Our sales teams are also located here, as well as in our sales office in Lithuania. As an IoT engineer you work from the office in Temse. Of course there are very frequent contacts with the other colleagues. You therefore function in an international environment where internal communication takes place in the English language.

Ventilation and indoor air quality
Ventilation is becoming increasingly important because of the better insulation of our buildings. A job in this sector offers security and great prospects for the future. Sentera also sees many opportunities in this sector. That is why we want to expand our team and invest in extra capacity to further expand our product range of smart sensors and controllers. Do you have an affinity with electronics and ICT and are you interested in the wonderful world of ventilation and air quality, then you are the person we are looking for.

A wide range of in-house competencies
Innovation is our driving force. In addition to a team of engineers who specialize in various fields of electronics and ICT, we also have a mechanical department that makes molds for our plastic machines. We also make the plastic housings for our products ourselves! Finally, in the Sentera group we also have a software company that not only develops our Erp software, but also designs the website and our SenteraWeb cloud platform. You therefore function in an international environment and are surrounded by a wide range of different competences.

If you are attracted to this position and our activities, please contact us so that we can get to know each other and have a conversation without obligation. We look forward to meeting you!
